I heard Kenny got a new album coming out soon on Peacefrog records called Silence in the secret garden. coming out in March I think.
Anyone heard anything about this?

yep I have heard the two promo one siders a few weeks back, both quite electronic, yet still KDJ's sound. Apparently the album has had to go back to press because Kenny wasn't happy with the artwork.
that's the story from my contact here, we are still waiting, bu it is definately in progress, and those two cuts are fine.

PS the two promo's will be released prior to the album (whether 2x1 siders or an EP I dunno), though in very very short supply, do you have friends at the vinyl store? If so you better get bribing them to put one aside, each one will be £15.00 each, twice the normal import price, and this is a domestic issue for us in the UK.

no wonder he was keeping so quiet these days. I thought he was giving up making music fo a while there.
By the way I do have friends in records stores, but Im not about to pay that much for a sigle 12".
Ill just wait till the album comes out.

peacefrog are also doing the same with a new Robert Hood 12", i think that is a 1 sider, and it really is a beautiful piece of work, ambient right through to the last 2 mins of the cut. only heard it once, but that was enough. Don't know if he has an album scheduled though.

Supply & Demand I suppose, they'll be $50+ on ebay within weeks.

Send a mail or you may lose out! that's what i'm afraid of aswell, so i've allready mailed my recordshop, but they said they didn't do any pre-orders, and adviced me to check the mail-outs. it's rushhour, they, along with hardwax are the only two stores on the european mainland that'll get the promo, so they might get more then 10. then again who doesn't shop at rushhour? so they could probably sell 50+ copies in less then an hour...

Anyone heard anything about this? The album has 10 tracks on it: as on his other albums you will find known tracks in different versions here as well: further versions of "Shine On Me" or "JAN" or "People Make The World Go Round" for example;
Besides that also (for me) new stuff like "sweet yesterday ( feat.pitch black city)" - this could be a future release on Mahogani regarding the style: I mean this deep soul style as the Mahogani 1 or the Amp Fiddler on Genuine! And two other new tracks which I think of right now: "on my way home" and the album title track "silence in the secret garden".... deep - dark - sweet - unbelievable !!! I have enjoyed the album and I can only recommend it!!!

The peacefrog 'official' pre release is I beleive at stores, the 'unofficial' release mentioned above is still lost, and the album has yet to appear near me...Still waiting.

I got a cd copy from the Rush Hour boys when they played at our party a while back, I really dig the album, kicks of in true MM style and gets more electronic along the way. Nothing spectacular but I'll buy the vinyl as soon as it hits the stores.
I am still waiting for him to surprise me with a cut like 'Dem Young Sconies' though.
