All you Parrish maniacs, please help a fellow out.
What are the both tracks between James Brown "Get It On The Good Foot" and ERB "The Weekend"???
The playlist on twoplayer.net doesn't help much in that case.

And was that Level 42 cut released as a 12inch? If not, which album can it be found on? Thanks!

'Love Meeting Love' was a 12" release on Elite Records, flipped with 'Instrumental Love' and produced by Sojka / Pike. Cat no. is DAZZ 5.

SP Can also be found on 'The Early Tapes LP', which is not that hard to track down.
Also get 'Love Games' from the same period!

Been longing to ID that Chicago track in between 'Get It On The Good Foot' and 'Weekend' as well...

Peace,

Gerd Hi Gerd,
I can give you those infos: number 10 is wrong!

It's not "James Brown - Get it on the good foot"!

It's "James Brown - Give Me Some Skin" by James Brown!!! You can find this on the LP "Mutha's Nature" which is a great LP by the way!!!

Then after James Brown, there is a No. 11, that I don't know! And after the No. 11, that is the KDJ 2!!! So the No. 12 is Moodymann on KDJ 2!!!

You are right, the missing No. 11 of the twoplayer list are two tracks in fact!

So the No. 13 is ERB, and then as the list goes on...

Hope that helps ;)

Also I should have still one copy of the Level 42 LP in our store in excellent condition.. If you need it just contact me...

This is the mix with "Funny How U Luv" near the start, too. I meant to email Stephen at twoplayer with some updates to the tracklistings. I don't know what's happened to him though: I sent him record reviews for January but there's been not a peep from him since last year. There's more tracks on the tape, like with "Live in Detroit '99".

Hey Johnny, I also asked myself about that "Funny How You Love" track. Who did it?
The twoplayer.net site seems to have disappeared, btw...?

Gerd

Peace,

Gerd Gerd: it's off Lil Louis' "Journey With The Lonely" LP. Great track, great LP. I don't know what's happened to twoplayer, though I suspect Stephen who ran it just couldn't be bothered anymore smile.gif

'funny [how you love]' is from lil' louis' album 'journey with the lonely'. pretty hard to find, as apparently everyone who's ever bought a copy refuses to sell it! smile.gif

twoplayer's been down for quite a couple of months now, i think stephen has a bit too much work to do, so hasn't got any spare time to update his website, which is too bad, as the review section was a nice new feature. especially since forcefield quit aswell about a year ago, and capsite.net doesn't update quite as frequently...

you can still reach most parts if the site by just typing the whole url:
