Anybody know about a bootleg re-issue of Stopp's "I'm Hungry"? The buyer at the other record store I work at (we have 2) says he has 5 copies of it at his shop. PISSED!!! I'm bidding for the original on E-Bay for way to much $$$. If anything at least I can rock 2 copies of it if I win...

Yeah like 5haus said it's true. Record is called "Secret Fixes 3". Stopp "I'm Hungry", Divine "Native Love(dub)",Human League "Don't You Want Me(dub)"...PISSED!!! Oh well...

this happens to me all the time. i pay a lot for a record on ebay or gemm and then the reissue comes out. personally, i don't mind gettin' the reissue. i'd rather not pay the extra money for a record i'd be afraid to take out on a gig. i'd rather have a cheaper copy so i could play it.

so, uh, where can i buy the reissue?

And please tell me of the other releases ?. :rolleyes: Alex, from what I know of the first two releases they were put together by Ectomorph. The first volume was of old acid cuts: the long mix of "Land Of Confusion", a remix of the Wee Papa Girl Rappers, and I think an Aphex Twin mix of a Guy Called Gerald? The second release was on more of an industrial tip: edits of LD's "Los Ninos" etc. Just for the nice pressing of the mix of "Land Of Confusion" the first one is worth hunting down. I think it was only available on one of the Jack Trax lps before that.
