There was great music during the 70s 80s and 90s
(personally not feeling much of the present right now,but there are a few exceptions)
so i could never choose one..........

This is a no brainer, seriously the '80's were off the hook.
What other decade could produce a group named Process and the Doo Rags?

The 80s were the decade that classic R&B died. I prefer the 60s and 70s. Too many synthesizers in the 80s. The rise of synthesizers in the 80s meant the death of the studio house bands (Detroit, Philly, Memphis, Miami, New York, LA, etc.
