Tantra "The Double Album" you consistently come up with the goods Chris smile.gif :D especially that "Groove On Down", which is hard to find. here are some of my past week finds (almost all a dollar each):

brand new heavies -- dream on dreamer (heavy motion mix) (1992/keyboards by eric kupper:)
billy cobham -- total eclipse (1974)
jamey abersold -- nothing but blues (1981/instructional jazz rock album which has one really good cut called "mr. super hiip")

charles earland -- odyssey (1976)
friends of distinction -- whatever (1970)
white chocolate -- a penny for your thoughts (1978)
the pips -- at last (1977)
mandrill -- we are one (1977)
brenda russell -- (self-titled 1979 album including "a little bit of love"...thanks to Discogodess for pointing out the sample hail.gif )
undisputed truth -- let's go down to the disco/ you + me = love (1976 12-inch promo)
calhoon -- dance, dance, dance (1975 12-inch promo)
enjoy your finds Chris...let's keep this going!

greetings ! L. Vanmeerhaeghe...could it be???? i think that the spice7 label could be the original one. how are you doing lyot? i passed in 'eerste zit'!!
congratz Tom ! Now you're up for well deserved holidays ..Profiteert ervan man.. smile.gif
I think the original lebal is Star Seven or something in that respect..On the same label, Jimmy Ross put out First True Love Affair and that other known tune of thim. I've been told that there's a huge Belgian connection but I forgot what it was exactly..
I've untill now also passed all my exams and tests for the state and military intelligence..I'm getting nearer, and I hope i will make it untill the end. I will get an answer by the mid august normally.
greetings !

Quality Records is the original label for the US Larry Levan mix. It was for the US and Larry was hired by Ray Caviano (of RFC fame and Quality) to do it. Now the original without the mix is not Quality.

I just picked up a rare one I'd been wanting for a long time; Never Too Late by Greg Henderson and Rome Jeffries, on Rain Records. Also, a really nice Firefly LP with My Desire, and an amzing track called Our Trade Is Life.

Say GrantB, That joint by the Colonel,' Bad Timing', is extra nice my man(Crazy slept on in my opinion), To me, Alot of the Colonels songs were vastly underrated, Some other songs by the Colonel that did not receive any(Or very little) airplay in New York(Except for Timmy Regisford rocking them on BLS in the 80's), Were, 'You and me Equals us', 'Picture me in love with you', 'Relive a memory', Also, From the early 90's, Secret Mystery', 'Somebody tell me'(You don't know)','In between us', Featuring Rose Stone, Say GrantB, If you don't have this song already, Checkout, 'Walk on by',By DTrain my man, Very soulful vocals and production, I have the utmost resepct for these cats(James DTrain Williams and Hubert Eaves.

I think i have a spare of Safari (UK issue). There was another long mix of it issued as a bonus 12 with their LP

Dreaming also came out on Greyhound, a UK label. What a great song!
As for the Park Place release, Dancing, for years I had a Joey Negro sample/cover version on Ze Records and never knew what the original was till I heard it in a mix on DHP. I was really glad to get it on eBay.
