I always feared the day whan 2manyDj's would be considered ambassadors of the Belgian dance scene...
No offense Greg but they are as helpful to dance music as a barber's shop on the steps to the guillotine (thank you Blackadder), full of themselves and can't mix for shit if you take away their software, with a music selection that is both uninspired and cheap.
Belgium is Fame Sucks and Kinky People, good food and drinks, absolutely gorgeous girls and modest and friendly people in general. My kinda place graemlins/1luvu.gif

1. Stella Beer ( My Favourite)

RD Hi Red D: No offence taken, it's all a matter of opinion. What I find interesting is that you're not the first Belgian I've found to be really negative about 2manydj's. Is this a general feeling? Anyone else from Belgium want to add their views?
I obviously found this album really inspiring, as I know many others have. I suppose it's a case of to each their own!

but this is just my opinion..There a lot of Belgians who don't like them...
Now, talking about famous Belgians : what Belgian artist sold over 80 million records in his career ?
MUscles from Brussels (JC Van Damme) is another famous Belgian, but nothing to be proud of for sure

Belgium reminds me of misty mornings and cold nights, hot parties and tasty ladies. Slamming chocolate and strange cold meat for breakfast, sleepy waffles before getting back on the Eurostar, and some great friends graemlins/beerchug.gif

Make no mistake, the majority of Belgian party people love 2ManyDJ's, but a majority of people who are really into quality dance music don't like them because they make a mockery of what dj'ing and dance music is all about. They have dissed house and techno dj's on numerous occasions as being too uptight and too full of themselves whereas they themselves have been seen drinking champagne by the bottles while putting on a mix cd and just pretending to be dj'ing on numerous occasions. That and the fact that they are making tons of money through doing what they set out to make fun off, and they ain't even doing it right.
When they started they stated that there were too many dj's who thought they were the shit and they wanted to show that dj's aren't the superstars they often claim to be, and I completely agreed and still do. But they have become exactly what they wanted to mock, and have made dj'ing a complete joke.
FYI, any place, any time, any crowd, bring them on.

Chocolate, chocolate, beer, cobblestone roads, dark alleys and mysterious people, chocolate, the magnificent architechture, the ice rink in central square during the winter, the flower rug to replace it in summer, chocolate, the best breakfast off of a cart in the world, oh and chocolate.
probably TOots too REd D ! But as I was watching the tv news yesterday, they told Salvatore Adamo had sold 80 million records in his career..That struck me..
( I do suppose he's got Belgian citizenship, even if he's got Italian roots)
greetings
