I just got a call from the wife. Someone apparently tried to break in my garage last night.I dont park in it......

Nothing appears to be missing(I have to see when I get home). I was testing out the generator and the amp for Part Sixx's Picnic yesterday, and I guess someone was watching me check the stuff out.

Just be careful when you bring equipment in and out the crib/garage. You never know who is watching.......

Just be careful when you bring equipment in and out the crib/garage. You never know who is watching....... so true...i guess growing up in chicago housing authority, i was taught at an early age to move at night so folk don't know what you got...

Man,they didn't want the equipment.They wanted the generator.You should never advertise what you have.I never move equipment in or out during daytime hours.

When I lived in my mom's building,folks would hear music and ask me if I was making a tape or spmething.I would tell them I am playing a tape and I rent my equipment.I also told them I had a Tek9 and a Luger.Never had any issues.

I usually have my security detail handle the loading and unloading of my equipment and vinyl. Decoys and body doubles are often used to confuse would-be thieves and stalkers......JMJ biggrinangel.gif

one more thing...in my town, they recycle cardboard, so every few weeks i flatten and bundle up all my boxes. some of these boxes often include boxes for new audio or computer gear. i never, ever leave the boxes for the expensive stuff at the top of the bundle, where it is visible to anyone scoping out the neighborhood at night. i always put those in the middle of the pile, with plain boxes or boxes for useless crap on the top and bottom of the pile. i jog and walk at night and often see people's cardboard bundles with all kinds of goodies in there...gateway computers, home theater gear etc...right on top of the bundle for all to see.

I was burglared last year and I am now paranoid about every scum bag in this area. I wish that one day they come back, so I can use all the torture methods that have ran through my head.

I was lucky...nothing was taken, but I have get another garage built....It was kinda on its last leg.....I moved all my equipment out to a undisclosed location......till I get another built.......
