Help us get the word out!
Blackwax and I have put together something special for the DHP Producers Corner. We will be starting a new subforum where a master guest will answer questions about production, DJing, or anything else you have on your mind.
There are no sites currently devoted to understanding production and DJing soulful dance music on the web, so we've decided to rectify the situation and make the Producers forum on the 'P THE place for this music. This will be an incredible opportunity for us all to gain insight into the best producers' and DJs' processes!
With great honor, the first guest will be DENNIS FERRER, recent grammy nominee & one of the true masters of production and DJing–as well as a gifted teacher. For about one month he will take time out of his busy schedule to check in on the new forum and answer your questions. At the end of that month, the forum will be archived for future reference.
We plan on hosting many more guests in the future and making this a vital hub for information on the creation and performance of this music. Help us spread the word so we can launch with power!!!
Look out for the new subforum starting around the end of June.

This has the potential to become something very special.
It would be a great help and contribution if people put the word out in any way they can.
Facebook, blog's, email all your friends :-)
let's build on this the more people that get involved the more questions will get asked and in turn we will all get more of an insight into the worlds of the featured guests. I am sure whatever level you are at we can all take something good away from these sessions

Can we submit artists for this great idea?
Cause if some producer can run with the idea, maybe you shouldn't wait that the previous one finished his replies, and we could take more input altogether during the year.
Having one thread per producer would keep a good flow of information.
Jus' sayin

Hey man,
Part of the concept is to concentrate on one specific producer's methods in each Q&A forum. At the end of the month, the forum is archived as a reference material going forward. So years from now, you can come back and learn about your favorite producer's approach.
If this first one is successful, we will continue this going forward. So you'll have many different people's production methods archived here for your own reference.
We are definitely open to suggestions for other producers to bring onboard for future Q&As, so let us know who's piquing your interest these days.

My 2nd question was more:
"Do you wish to be put in contact with some (professional) producers?"
You should start a thread asking which producers we (the members) would like to ask questions, that would be cool.
That's a real good idea you've come up with, guys, thanks a lot!

I'm pretty well connected from my travels, but yeah, the thread with suggestions is a good idea.
