View Full Version : Balihu 001 Look ma no drum machines
I resorted to GEMM and even thought I had finally got myself a copy only to have the seller tell me they already sold it.
Anyone know if this record is findable these days?
I have always loved it since the first time I heard it and dying to get a copy.

it has a light blue label with red writing.
you can still find it, but you might pay more than
you might feel it is worth it.

the cant stop dreamin track alone is worth it. The other ones are not that good. IMO
yeah, Like Some Dreams I can't Stop Dreamin... iz da shit. If you actually read on the label, there's some funny pseudo-corporate writing saying something like: if you answer these three questions you will get such and such gift.
I need to find this one... was stolen from me, I miss it.

If you can't find the EP at a reasonable price, this track is available (along with some other choice selections) on a Robodisco compliation which came out a couple of years ago.

I remember seeing those for $.99 by the crate load, before the newbies found out his shit was cool. It should still be pretty available.

The ones I can remember off the top of my head are Annie - "Greatest Hit"; MAW -"Mama Said"; something by Terrence Parker and something else by Phil Asher...
Sorry, I'll tray and dig it out later for a more complete track listing smile.gif

that something by terrence parker is a great track that came out on intangible... that samples first choice's doctor love in probably the best way I've ever heard --- "Your love is so special" graemlins/1luvu.gif
Ish, If you don't have any luck, hit me up. I think I have an extra...I wasn't really trying to get rid of it but I can probably get another next time it gets pressed up, I usually see it a couple times a year... I still owe you a cd too..I didn't forget.

Right, here's the tracklisting. Apologies for my earlier inaccuracies - my memory is obviously deteriorating more rapidly than I thought...
Robodisco 3xLP (Papercuts - PCUT LP001)
A1: Hardrive - Jus' believe
B1: The Funky Horns - Blow (DJ Duke with Peven Everett on mute horn!)
C1: Zam - Africa Freedom
D1: Terrence Parker - Your Love
E1: Annie - Greatest Hit
E2: Daniel Wang - Like some dream I can't stop dreaming (break and no break mixes)
F1: Seventh Movement - Odyssey (Phil Asher remix)
Great compilation, properly pressed. Well worth picking up... smile.gif

worth it just because its the only place you can get this track, and the rest of the comp is great too.

So if somebody is interested... email me.

DHP was definitly on the case with this one. Thanks to those who spotted out the samples. I think we need to do this with other records too..
I guess it seemed too good to be true, heh.
