"Bang The Party: the Movie"
Filmed over a four-year period (1999-2003), "Bang The Party: the Movie" is a documentary about Deep/Underground House Music as seen through the eyes of the producers and patrons of Bang The Party. Interviews with House music DJs, producers, party promoters, historians, dancers, artists and live underground party footage are just some of the elements that make this documentary rich and authentic in its representation of the esoteric scene. Bang The Party is a weekly Deep House Music/Dance/Art gathering, running from 1997 to date, in Brooklyn, NYC.

One question...who is that girl in the black top and grey sweats?
If I ever wanted to kill myself, I'd want her to be the weapon. That girl has a body and moves to match. My old outta shape ass worked up a sweat just watchin' her.

Nice trailer. One of the things I appreciate about BTP is their very, very loyal following.

Question for film producers... How does one go about arranging for a public screening of any of these house music films in particular places? What does it cost? Are there distributors who handle this end of things?

I would like to show films like this at a cultural space where I do my weekly 'Rhythm Method' parties here in Halifax, Canada. They have projection equipment there and show independent films every week.

Any info appreciated or PM me. I also have Atlantic Film Festival (Halifax, Canada - Spetember) connections for any film producers who may be interested, I can do some go between.
