So being able to hear you guys live in the mix is cool. How does it work ? I assume you can be at home with your mixer and tables hooked to your computer's sound card and then your computer streams the signal to the server and then the server rebroadcast it over the internet ???

I put my turntables here in my computer room..hooked up some power speakers. Mixer goes into the card...So that becoems the line in. Then we hook up to the server with Real Prod. Only thing was all the IM sounds ome crashing thru the speakers jarring me lol. AOL has some wild sounds right now

Then the server in Sweden rebroadcast the signal to peeps who are located anywhere in the world including me in Wisconsin. Thats more than not bad thats great considering how good the stream sounds.

Its not bad at all.The Pirate Staiton I do my shows on have a serious server,I mean the site is so large that 3 to 4,000 peeps tune into the house show tommorow night.From 8-10 est thats 1am-3am UK time..and peeps be on there 24/7 365 days a year..

-G </font>[/QUOTE]G Im thinking of buying a server myself to host a radio show,its great to get some excellent progamers from all over the world.Ita a great way for djs to express themself.For now I have to do it this way.My friend Mourad has been more than great to allow us to use the time.Because Sweden is 6hrs ahead,he can only deal with UK djs,From midinte to 6am Asia,Japan has the server,USA gets it from 5-12am est. which is not bad.Soon Sean Collins is going to join us as well as Donna Edwards and Keith Porter..I hope there no fiascos.*goes and hides* lol Peace and Thanks to everyone for tuning into TOT,Lola and my show... smile.gif
