Party looks great....and Vincient is holding it down.

My only other comment would be is "why" do they have the TTables so low to the ground, ...rather they should be where the DJ's Posture would be enhanced rather than imparied. This also helps one's (rhythnm of) breathing.

Imagine playing a flute or violin or whatever, in that position.

ummnnnn

d I remember having an internet radio show, the station had the TTs at the level of a regular dinner table!! Man I hate that, I don't remember what we did to level them a bit, but for a while, I used to leave the show with back pain.

Who's Vincient? Is that Spinna's real name?

Good point. Noone else I talk to seems to mind that at gigs. You get tired twice as fast hunched over like that.

It's funny how often sound folks will set up the decks on those knee high fold up tables. They are a total nightmare. Especially when you are 6'4".

The DJ's forearms should be parallel with the floor, like the tonearm.

IMHO

In mobile situation as that was it would be wise to be prepared:

1) DJ and Audio folks should communicate even if is just to say hello well before each event.

2) DJ could submit "sketch" & or drawing of the specs. re all aspects of the TTable area and etc....where - what - and when.

3)When traveling by plane one tends to wear the airplane seat for a few days, especially if it is a long flight. Posture again is essential when serving music.

d what do you do when you have 4 djs of different height? graemlins/rofl.gif

Seriously, that night I arrived, KC was probably 6'4 then you had Cassie6 spinning and he was a little shorter, then you have Spinna who isn't that tall, etc...... They should install a pedal under the table to be able to bring the whole setup up and down as wished. Wouldn't that solve most problems! An adjustable table.

for all the dutch speaking peeps check the rednose distrikt live performance @ vpro's 3voor12 webpage from a couple of weeks ago. it's described as the worst liveshow in the history of the program...
mc drew acts as if his name is 'koos werkeloos' [= floyd unemployed] and it's kinda funny if you like that stuff!

Thank you 4 bringing out that point.

Well, if you have 4 DJ's all in one situation then the fact that one cannot really develop a musical direction "a journey of sorts" -- is another prob.

Please enlighten me to why when you have someone like Spinna that there has to be as many as three more DJ's? Was it a 24 hour marathon?

Talk to me......I am seriously trying to understand the thinking behind this. graemlins/conf44.gif

d

Ps. An hydrolic table would be cool ???

i think it's just a result of European party culture...two hours is a standard set.. Might have something to do with the fee's , but i'm not sure about that..

Hey, imade the trip. But could'nt find the party. None of crew brought a flyer, so we walked up the north of Zandervoot, to find no party. We ask people about Tijn, but no one had any clue. So we had a few drinks around Bloomingdales's and called it a day

Pretty dissapointed that i missed it really.

Pretty dissapointed that i missed it really. you joking right? daaaaaaaaamn! And it was the nicest day in the whole week, though a bit chilly, it was sunny. Man oh man! We stopped at this gas station and just asked where Tijn was and the girl told us where to go. It's at the south end of Zandvoort, on the beach! graemlins/jpshakehead.gif
