So you're a Tom Petty (and the Heartbreakers) fan, huh? A couple of my favorite Petty-jams are "The Waiting",and "Don't do me like that" I used to read Creem Magazine in the early eighties-groups/artists like Petty, Pete Townsend (I remember "Rough Boys" being a big solo hit for him back then) Joe Jackson and the Stray Cats were a few of my favorites.

I dig the guy a lot! Something about that nasaly drawn out way he has of singing. Makes me feel what he's putting out there. When I think Americana, he definitely comes to mind. I know more of his later work but will definitely go back and build on my collection.
Everyone knows this one but the "Don't come around here no more" video hooked me! The whole Alice in Wonderland theme has been following me all my life, so I have a very personal connection to that song/video. He's quality, quality, quality. Funny, JM3 also mentioned the tag. Tom Petty strikes again.
