It fuckin figures... I get a new mixer and my speakers finally give out a couple days after. graemlins/cussing.gif
Anyone have any suggestions for some nice monitors for home use? I had my Alesis monitor 1's for a while and I know they're not the best speakers on the market but they were good while they were working... graemlins/conf44.gif
These are the ones I use:
YAMAHA MSP-3 POWERED MONITORS

I haven't had any problems and they bump.

The full range corner spk is still the most efficient due to the faithful respects of fundamentals and physics = music.
It is built as tho' one was building a musical instrument. No secrets, no magic, and/or "special" formulas.
Remember to be fair to them when listening. Choose the correct diet 2 feed them as well as the correct "room acoustics." Arm yourself to the teeth with recordings that you know and love when listening to them.
They will in return unconditionally present music rather than a "loudspeaker ego."

May your New Y-ear be filled with joy and music, mhd!
