since no one bothered to ask me why--

i met up w/ my mother to ride around w/ her and listen to her blab and gripe (she's ALWAYS complaining but she says she's at peace with herself :rolleyes: ). i'm actually trying to get a small job so i can get out of this jerkwater town again and she starts going off about how those "Tacos" (she mentioned "Mexicans" so i don't know if Tacos includes Hondurans and Guatamalans or who..) are taking all the work. i try to subtly tell her that she's being racists (radically so) but of course she doesn't listen.

all the 'hate' (which some Zen'ers say equals 'love') i typed about came from her and i was just trying to make it sound interesting. sorry, just being dramatic.

i just wanted people to know that that's how some of our universal "sisters" and "brothers" think, and it can be dangerous.

so now, when is the media going to get back to covering all those immigration stories like they were in the months after "that day in september of 2001"?

sorry people got upset, really--may people who hate you have the courage to tell you to your face. amen, shalom

If it's an apology, I can understand where your coming from, because our parents can be some really stubborn people. For example, my Mom didn't like the fact that I married an Afro- American woman but after a while she saw my wife for what she really is, warm and loving. She got past the fact that race doesn't matter anymore and that we're all family one way or the other.

We all need to get past those hateful boundries that keep us all from knowing each other for who we really are, human. What's funny is that a movie comes to mind right now. BullWorth, and someone in that movie said "maybe we all need to **** each other in order to get along." Well maybe not in those words exactly, but the way I understood it is maybe all of the races of the world need to mix with each other in order to become one race. Maybe then, we will all respect each other. This is my opinion of coarse.


If your just stating what your Mom said and your not claiming responsibility, your just a messenger so to speak, then why bother to put something up like that on this board? I'm sure your a smart individual, and I assume that because you write poetry, I would suggest that you think before you inadvertently insult someone on this board. When we first come on here we are all one general color in here, which is blue because of the message board, then that all makes us brothers and sisters here. This is why we all consider each other family. I hope that we all understand each other. Please understand that I don't have any animosity against you now, although I should. I would suggest that you think before you inadvertently insult someone on this board.sorry if i threw a rock into a pack of dogs and hit particular hunds (paraquoting Elijah Muhammed or Malcolm X or somebody??). there were some very angry responses which got my penis hard to build great dialogue...but the thread was closed to save people's feelings. in the case of online ramblings, why attempt to save people from feeling hurt? why not use negativity to become stronger/more dynamic beings? i would still like to discuss "God" w/ others someday, but this might never happen...

i can only ask that you take nothing i say 'seriously' or even to heart. the arguments and criticalness is funny here; i can handle criticism because i get it all the time (more so from me).

this is something i noticed form the first day i ever posted here.
it sucks to know that we feel like we must censor our words and thoughts just to spare the feelings of the easilly offended.

now, i try my hardest not to offend those people and feel the need to appologize to those that i piss off on this board.
that's mainly out of respect for Gman who has to put up with someone as unpleasant as i can sometimes be, daily.

i called someone out about a comment that suggested that women who didn't support "regime change" and war in a part of the mid-east deserved brutal sexist treatment--what i didn't do was chastise the person just to make them feel bad about what was typed. i don't remember that thread being closed.

i made "racist" statements for a reason, because such statements are made in life, as silly--Tacos = person of 'Mexican' ancestry--as they may seem. how is my post different/worse than any other thread where racist terminology was introduced in order to prove a point or raise an issue?

i don't feel that the thread should have been locked and you will hear from my lawyer--s. (indignant smilie)
