For those interested to know how it was over there, this article pretty much nails it down.

“Then we let him go, and he spends the next twelve years pissing us off even more. We don’t want to be in this shit-hole country. We don’t want to invade it. What a ****ing retard."

Ignorant as a mutha....

Damn Dolemite, thank you for completely hogging up my time this afternoon with this article. Its absolutely riveting. I read the whole thing start to finish and its amazing. A childhood friend of mine is still in Baghdad with some Air Force Detachment, I communicate with him as often as possible but he's somewhat limited in what he can talk about in regards to the war so this was a great way for me to try to understand some of what he's been going through.

My only comment regarding ALL of the men in this article is :

Do not judge lest ye be judged.

Peace

Ignorant as a mutha.... Don't blame him for his ignorance. There was a shitload of brainwashing going on with us over there.

US Marines are some strange people. But there is NO ONE I would want with me in a firefight besides a Marine. They are truly some pshyco motherfukahs in battle.

Wow this is such an interesting article. Very insightful. Being in a combat, you become a different animal. You have to survive..
