My wifes sister has just been diagnosed with this non curable disease she has lost most of the use of her legs and speach. She was more like a mother to my wife as her mother died when she was only 12 years old. It is a very sad time for us and we are both finding it hard to cope.
Mandy (my wife) is full of anger and tears she has lost many family members in her life and her sister is the person she is closest to.
I am not religious but find I am making a small prayer for her every evening.
It is hard to discuss such matters but I needed to share this with you all
Thank you for listning

the things that bring us together here are music and dance, i'm sure we all at some point take for granted the very things your sis/mom-in-law can no longer enjoy, sometimes when we dance we pray

Thanks for your kind words
mhd you are correct I played a set at the weekend and i played my heart out and danced it was my way of healing and was one of the most passoinate sets i have ever played. Music and dancing is my religion and gives me something i cannot find elsewhere. I only wish my wife could have been there to experience it with me
