Darryl James was KILLIN IT!! on the ride @ 5 yesterday. He played a number of early 80's jams like "Get Off" by The Time, "Can U Help Me" which I'm guessing is by Jesse Johnson and another song with the words "Sanctified" and "Sanctified Lady (or Woman)" in it. Any help with that last one?

That was my first guess, Darrow. But the beats sounded much more in the vein of that 80's electronic R&B sound.
wait, i just read that "sanctified lady" was a hit in '85, so it is very possible. i'll check it out and let you know.
