4. When you were frantic over your first pair of Chuck Taylor All-Star gym shoes and they were made of canvas.
5. Remember that commercial for Keds gym shoes and you thought they would make you run faster.
6. Remember when all the kids on the block had a “GREEN MACHINE” big wheel.
7. What about getting a whoopin with those plastic matchbox race track sets. They were Orange and Yellow.
8. Remember when you got a “stretch Armstrong” and your sister got a “lite brite” for Christmas.
9. Remember when your mama had an eight-track player in the car and she used to have to put a piece of paper in between it to keep it from skipping. They only had two songs. “The Sparkle soundtrack” and “CarWash”.

39. Standing in line to buy a pork chop sandwich off the truck after leaving Chic Ricks
40. Paying $3 to $5 to get into a party.
41. Rushing to get to the Charlie Club on Michigan Ave. by 7pm on ladies night to get in free.

And when that same contraption would get jammed and no one could get their money in, so the bus driver would let them ride for free.
