two cuts from this Theo mix (http://www.deephousepage.com/theoparrish.ram).

#1 - @ 17:15 (wacked out new wave sounding thing that makes me think of Sweet Sticky)

#2 - @ ~ 37:00 (oh man)

i'm feeling like 76 today.

First cut..Savage Progress-Heart begins to beat-Ten Records 1984.

That second track songs like a Theo track for real.My guy Theo is a waaay out dude....in a good way. He's really cool and we found out we have crossed some of the same paths.

second track sounds more like a kdj track than a theo parrish track.

about the second track, i also think it's a kdj track. and it's about a tree, and his forthcomming album on peacefrog is called something like 'in the garden'. so it might be on there somewhere.

and has anyone heard anything about that 3rd three chairs project? there was a cd-r going around about two years ago with a couple of unreleased theo parrish tracks, some of which were going to be released on three chairs-3.

Jurren is right. The second track should be on the forthcoming Moodymann album on Peacefrog.

Peace,

Gerd

Peace,

Gerd Hi Gerd,
I think this 2nd unknown track is not on the upcoming MM album! But I am not 100% sure about that, "errare humanum est..."

Regarding the upcoming 3chairs Part III: my info is that it will come out "soon" (this year probably); regarding the tracks on the 3 Chairs III I got the info that the following track will be on it: sound snippet: http://www.bassics.de/realaudio/ssmx6b.ram

This track is played by Theo Parrish on the "Live In Japan Part II" CD which I reviewed for bassics.de in May 2002 and inluded this sound snippet because I thought (and still think) that this track is one of the most impressive tracks of the whole CD! But at that time when I wrote the review I had no idea what the track's name was or where it could be released on, I supposed that it is a production by MM or Theo, but I didn't know... The story with this review and this sound snippet went so far that people not only emailed the bassics website to get infos about that track but also even called them by phone from different foreign countries! No joke, I never experienced such a big interest on a short review-sound-snippet before... So in the end I heard that this track should come out on the upcoming 3 chairs III...

Talking about Moodymann: this week the Mahogani M3 has been released, title: Pitch Black City feat. Roberta Sweed - Runaway (Mahogani M3), it's a onesided-12" and it's a fantastic release in my opinion, I can only recommend it. As far as I know the Mahogani M2 didn't come out yet officially...
