Aint shit in there worth reading. The only page to look at is the girl of the week. The weekly top ten hits is a joke . How do they stay in business?? I don't give a flyin fvck who got married. Boy the shit they try to feed us. I'm all for supporting a Black publication when it has SOMETHING to read...gimme a break already.

I mean I don't give a fvck about Eartha Kitt's exercise routine(she does lookk good for 167).Streetwise has more interesting topics. They should combine JET, STREETWISE AND THE DEFENDER and maybe make it ONE publication.

On a sad note though, one of the victims of the Loop fire, Janet Grant, was the daughter of former Jet executive editor Robert Johnson. But the magazine still sucks. I have a coworker who brought an old issue to work; I think it was from Dec. 1967 and it cost a quarter. People don't throw shit away.

It'll never go away as long as people keep getting that coupon book with the discounted magazine subscriptions ;)

It's been said that Jet is one of the top selling magazines out there. I guess they feel if it ain't broke don't fix it. I usually read someone else's magazine and even then it's a 15 minute read.
Hell Ebony is a 25 minute read. Those magazines are for black folks who've been reading them since they came out.
I'm partial to
King
FHM
Blackmen
The articles may not always be hittin' but the visuals will never let you down.
