Working at Satellite was great during its “Golden Era”, when it first opened in its older location. They used to actually care about turning people on to the next shit . . .

WHAT IMPORTANT TRENDS DO YOU SEE IN OUR INDUSTRY?
That everyone is going out of business. Don’t just blame the economy either. I saw it coming. Unfortunately, the majority of house music lacks variation and personality. People can’t stick to the same formula forever, so it’s evolve or die. I am very positive though. I think we are at that crossing point (see 24 Hour Party people for Tony Wilson’s helix reference) where things will start changing again because the most recent plan didn’t work very well. Look to the new blood…
