Peace 1st Post

Yo Dennis , I know producing music can be a beautiful journey so I thank you
for bringing us further along that path.

Peace Dennis, how would you suggest doing chord progressions ?

I do know some music theory (still learning) and I love minor 9th chords
and stuff like that. I can make a chord progression that sounds nice but I'm still struggling with chord progression with that deep house vibe .

Thanks for your help

I'd love to hear what DF has to say about this but there is a really good thread on chord progressions from a year or two ago. Martino wrote some great posts on the subject. Do a search, good thread.

i'm pretty much in anything mode right now....before it was lots of 5th's and 9th's with plenty of passing chords and ghost notes..ala west coast contemporary praise but our genre is constantly revolving and those are really not seen as cool right now. So i'm in limbo...lol...while i love really musical stuff it really ain't flying too much with kids right now. Stay tuned though cuz things are always cyclical.
