Just when I think I've exhausted a particular area of music for exploration another little window opens...

So I'd like to say thanks to Jolyon and like-minded souls for reminding me of the pleasures of the balearic sound this year, without which I wouldn't have chased down...

'Mammagamma' and 'I Robot';
'Transfer Station Blue';
'95 in the Shade';
'Witness the change';
'Big Muff';
'Vishnu'

or rescued a whole pile of records from the loft which hadn't seen the light of day in a decade...Simple Minds, FGTH, William Pitt...

Thanks! graemlins/respekt.gif (and keep digging!)

Tim

i have been turned on to some old and new tunes this year that if it was not for boards like this i'd never have dug out again or hunted down

I quite like 'Bombollini'...and the b-side 'True Love'. I think the L' Amour one is called Touche d' Amour.

Hope all's well...

That's the one! The instrumental version is nice.
