i wanted to check out the Twilight Zone marathon on TV but my girl said i was holding her back from having fun.
I did the wimpy thing and bought tickets to go out to a party.

We are smart in my family. We are TAPING the Twilight zone marathon a la VCR .

Happy holidays! Just spent the past few hours doing the rounds, giving tonight's Washington DC DJs WHAT THEY NEED! ;)

Now home nursing family back to health. New Years stroke of midnight and the CVS beeper goes off as I walk out. Must have been when the ball dropped...

I spent NYE at home with my wife and we had a private party. Two turntables a mixer and a mirror ball in our living room. We took some things that made us spend most of the night hugging each other other constantly declaring our profound and deepest love for each other. It was a blissful new years eve. We finished by listening to Kahlil Gibran "the prophet" spoken word Lp and went to sleep with Miles Davis "In a silent way" and Donny Hathaway "A song for you" gently carressing us.
NYE in Japan is a very different vibe though there are plenty of wild parties to go to. but mostly it is a very quiet and family based thing. Most people go back to their hometowns and visit temples with family to pray for a good new year.To prepare for NYE everyone frantically cleans their house and throws out their junk to start the year with a clean energy.
I had a very special and loving nye and as my wife and I hadn't spent much time together last year (because of our crazy work schedules)it was good to just lie around listen to sweet tunes and get loved up.
