very nice! graemlins/OLA.gif the chord progression (especially around the :56 second mark, has an early 90s influence in there...kudos!)

That is dope and deep, and better than alot of b.s. that is currently pressed up.

This track would be particularly impressive as a performance with all live musicians on instruments, especially live drums. I could imagine lots of instrumental improvising done on top of this piece. It could all lead to a thrilling climax.
Now ain’t that in your budget?

Unfortunately not, i made this track just with a pc and a keyboard. I would like to add some live percussion to it like conga's and stuff but i havent got enough equipment do that :(

I hope it will be released one day, till then im glad with reactions on this messageboards, they inspire me and give me the currage to go on making music.
because i worked hard on this track. You know the chord changes at 1:20 are very hard to find when you havent got any musical education.

I like this, sounds very Detroit to me, nice beats, which could sound fat if live or given a live feel.
If you make the changes, then re post the song.

Very nice, I would play it during a set. How were you able to make the song available for us to listen to on the site.
Keep up the good work smile.gif

Nice cut. I like the rolling feel to it. The way you layered the sounds is effective and I like the chord progressions. The intro measures are good too. Around the 20 second mark when you bring in the bass, you set a good vibe. I can imagine this being played to a crowd where they hear that bass come in and know the tune instantly.
Had you planned on this being an instrumental or maybe a vocal?
You've inspired me to continue banging away at my own setup this week!

Im thinking about doing samples of my own voice in it. I truly want this track to be really my thing you know, my vibe. My own vocals my own melody, no samples no loops no nothing.
But thats basicaly what i want from all my tracks.

That is the makings of a really strong danceable track. That you worked with a PC and a keyboard is even more impressive. Great work!
Three suggestions:
1. Be careful with your high frequency instruments. You have an arpeggiated melody in the back, a whilstling melody with a similar chord progression and some reverse beats and your highs kind of crash together. Also, slowing that bass line down a bit with some sustained notes could help bring those unique textures out in front a bit.
2. Some contrast in the melodies would help bring out the core of your tune. Don't have too many of the same chords dancing around.
3. Work on a BRIDGE and a BREAK and get a final mix down and you've really got something.
You're very talented!

What did you mean by "arpergiated sound"??? Is that the whistle kinda thing at the first beat???
And yeah that bassline can hang more to the lead sound, im thinking about changin it from 8/4 to 4/4. Its hard talking about musical stuff without any training but i think i know what you mean, ive thought about it myself.
GOOD COMMENTS,,, thanx
