Blimey the summer is rolling along very fast! Here for your lazy (or not so lazy) summer afternoon perusal is the 35th instalment of Doing Something with Jazz. The week featuring the likes of Everything but the girl, Cerrone, Chaka Khan, Bumblebee Unlimited, Fleetwood Mac and Nat King Cole.

A few things have also come together this week which I am quite pleased with.

New Tune – Wide Eyed
I have posted a first mix of my new tune 'Wide Eyed' up on SoundCloud, its already had play from the BBC here in Nottingham, been featured on Trent FM's new music podcast, and of course I’ve played it on this weeks DSWJ. Its a laid back electronic type affair, taking influence from all manner of 90s house music, downtempo and lo-fi.

Doing Something with Jazz – New website!
And I have finally put something decent(ish) on the Doing Something with Jazz website, DoingSomethingWithJazz.co.uk. Its set it up as a blog so I can post all the podcasts up there and any promotional sets, remixes, tracks and gig listening. You can subscribe to it in your Internet Explorer or Outlook in the usual way, or via I Tunes (but this means you just get the audio, none of the cool news and stuff!
