Example 1: I remember a PBS broadcast, with Wynton Marsalis and the Lincoln Center Jazz Orchestra. In front of a group of kids, he demonstrated the Nutcraker Suite. He first played the original arrangement (classical). Kids watched, no reaction. Then, he played an Ellington arrangement! Swingin'. The kids were more into it!

Example 2: Donna Edwards had me doing the cha-cha slide tonite. I do not like that tune, and I do not like the dance. But she put on the Love Is The Message mix (not the original), and had a few heads gettin their slide on.

Lil Ray was bangin the tables, too (Ride The White Horse!). Peace.
