Fear of a Black Hat DVD update: 1/14/03
GREAT NEWS.... JUST RECEIVED A RELEASE DATE FROM COLUMBIA-TRISTAR HOME VIDEO. FEAR WILL BE RELEASED ON DVD JULY 8, 2003! —H.N.I.C.

We got some of the special features we wanted on but not everything. The lawyers were driving us crazy with paperwork requests. So we said f*ck it let's roll with what we can, since everyone is waiting for this release!

Some of the features are film out takes, music videos section (a never before seen video with ric ocasek), interviews of what the group's been up to lately, and directors commentary. Mark the date and order early!!!! —H.B.I.C.

I've been following this for a minute, so I'm stoked!!! graemlins/thumbsup.gif

that's like you, boss - too much ;)
can't wait...i SWEAR that's one of the only movies i can watch and straight laugh all the way through...

did you ever hear about the riff between rusty cundieff and chris rock/nelson george getting their hands on the similar screenplays and rushing to put their version out first...of course, rusty's went independent while "cb4" got the mainstream treatment - i think they got that because of the interviews they do at the beginning with the mc's that were large at the time (i thought that part was funny, though)...
however, FOBH outweighs cb4 in all aspects...

Man, CB4 SUCKED! I can barely stand to watch that movie. FOBH was always on point. I saw it on cable not to long ago and while it's obviously dated, it's still consistently funny.

I'll definitely pick up a copy.

Gotta show love to a brotha from PGH, PA!!!

Antoine Fuqua (Replacement Killers, Training Day, Tears of the Sun) is from Pgh as well. Married Lela Rochon. Damn, he made REAL good!

I figured you might appreciate the NWH info since you made a bunch of references. Justa thought... ;)

Remember "Rappin'" with Mario Van Peebles? Yes, alas, that was fimed in PGH. Effing HORRIBLE movie.
