Her( Serena) first serve was a bit off an Justine Henin played her ass off..she ran down everything and her backhand is wicked... oh well maybe sometimes you need to lose to re-gain your focus.

Well congrats to the Belgians - although Henin-Hardenne will pay for this the next time they meet on the court. mad1.gif Serena's game will be elevated due to this loss - Lord help those she meets in the next few weeks....

Tennis is such a great spectator sport.

They have both looked relatively sloppy lately...they seem to be preoccupied with other things...Venus does not appear to be focused at all, I think she may be over tennis...Serena just needs to get her focus back...because truth be told she is the absolute best Female Tennis player in the world right now...

The law of professional sports dictates that you are only as good as your last game...

So yeah, both Williams sisters will have to pick up their game or their dominance could be over, which wouldn't be that bad for the sport, although I have always liked the way they came and took women tennis to another level. They are the reason Henin and Clijsters have to rise to the occasion.

Mind you, the way the French/Belgian audience responded to the match was very embarrassing, what with applauding for every ball Serena missed. ****ing chauvinists!

Honestly I think if we look at power and force Serena is the best, but if we look at range of play and beauty of strokes Henin beats them all.
