Much love and respect to all of the Brothers and Sisters on the board. I would like to start by saying thank you for your support of my art over the years. It is very important to keep music & art alive because it is the breath and consciousness of the people. Your response to the project that my partners and I have put together has been amazing.
It has been a breath of fresh air see people enjoy themselves on a new level of euphoria.
After speaking to Francois K., It brought to mind a couple of things that are very important to myself and my coherts. With all that has been going on over the years Chicago, in paticular,it is very important for us all to uphold the history and legacy of our culture which has been developed and fine-tuned by some of the great masters that have come our way. Traditon and respect are very important to us. Giving respect to people that have come before us and being humble enough to never stop learning but especially from thoes that have paid many dues tirelessly through there craft is a very important virtue that should never be forgotten.
Sometimes people forget or take this virtue for granted and miss "THE EDUCATION".
From his days at Prelude to his contribution to electronica, Francois K. has been instrumental in the development of the roots and culture of dance music. He has been one of my primary sources for musical inspiration over the years.
Friday night let us recieve Francois in the way that he deserves to be welcomed.
