The jazz and funk world lost a great one today with the passing of Herbie "Superman" Mann. A great part of my youth was spent listening to the disco inflected jams and futuristic "world music" of this talented flute player and band leader. This will strike a chord with many of the old school members of the group. I look forward to a more educated obituary. graemlins/respekt.gif
