Naw see ya just dig a hole in the ground.. pour some charcoal in it lay the meat on a wire screen and there you have it.

okay for all you outdoor people!!This is a tip straight out of the Scottish highlands!!When i go fishing there is one very impressive way of cooking a fish!
Listen carefully

Dig a very small hole as described above - fill the hole with stones from a river or lake and then add twigs and charcoal(it can also be done with lots of wood and stones.the stones are used to simply hold the heat but there has to be enough woood to get them up to temperature!Once the fire is very hot and holding heat you tightly wrap the gutted(cleaned) fish up in a newspaper alongside lemon - salt and pepper and butter.A standard newspaper does the job fine.The whole newspaper with fish inside is then dipped in the river or lake until completely saturated with water.This is then placed in the hole and coverd up with more coals .After around 40 minutes the package is then taken out and opened with a pair of scissors.To youre amazement the fish is perfectly cooked and all the lemon, butter, salt and pepper makes the whole thing taste amazing.

Bye theway for you who dont do outdoors the fish can be cooked in the same way in a standard oven.Simply run it under the cold water tap and place inthe oven at around 200 degrees c.When the newspaper starts to go brown which is around 30 minutes the fish is ready.

a very good tip-Never forget to run the newpaper under the cold water or you will have to phone the fire station lol.
The great thing about this is the fact that the skin sticks to the newspaper and all the skin and bones can be left to throw in the bin by being wrapped in the newspaper.It is also very impressive if you want to win a ladys heart!

I usually do it with wild scottish trout but it could be done with most fish dishes,
