How can the troops come back safe from war if they have such internal problems ?

"... Don't play with guns my son !"

I saw a documentary showing that in 1st gulf war, there have been more casualties by US forces IN the US forces, than caused by the Iraquis !?...
Bombing their own tanks, firing their own troops...
War is confusing !

this is normal war practice..... nothing new..... friendly fire always makes more casualties than enemy fire...especially with so much troops without any real battle experience and so much troop-movements going on......

Accidents and friendly fire are an unfortunate part of every war. The media focuses on this far too much and they know this is the key to reel in viewers. Far more worse things went on during Vietnam, Korea, and Both World Wars.

We've gone from loosing 1 million troops on both sides within a six month period during World War One, to a lil over 200 deaths during the gulf war.

It is progress, ugly as it may sound, but this is something that has been dealt with before.

To have a clean war is an oxymoron to begin with.
