Following up our sweaty premiere at the ://about blank with Lowtec and Even Tuell, Futura is going into the next round on October 23.
With Gerd Janson (Running Back, Robert Johnson) we not only have the mastermind of one of our favorite labels joining us - he's also a true ambassador of house. No matter whether as a producer (going by the name of Tuff City Kids together with Philip Lauer of Brontosaurus), as a writer for Groove and Spex magazine or as a sympathic and eloquent moderator of the Red Bull Music Academy. The resident DJ of the Robert Johnson club in Offenbach is what you call a "DJ's DJ". With style and attitude he plays House and Disco and joins them both to represent the unity, that they - strictly speaking - have always been.
Another highlight of the night will be our very special guest from Detroit, Keith Worthy. We are especially pleased to welcome our guest from the Motor City and we are looking forward to the musical surprises he will have in store for us. Known and famous for his aesthetic sound sculptures that always come up with a juicy beat and deepness in the truest sense of the word, he is one of the most exciting younger deep house producers from Detroit. As a musician as well as a label owner of Aesthetic Audio he already has provided us with a few bombs for the dancefloors in the past years.
The icing on the cake this time will be two of our DJs from the Futura camp, Makarov and Martin Tews.
We are looking forward to a wild night of dancing in the ://about blank club, or to say it with some words from the promotional text of our guest from Detroit: GET READY ... THE HEAT IS COMING!
