I will try to make this simple.
If you were a man (keep that in mind) - - - and you go to out of state to visit a woman you are in a relationship with, and her single girl-friend invite you two to a party but you don't seem interested in going - - - then the friend says, there will be alot of single ladies there...
What exactly is she getting at / going to by the Single Ladies statement she made?

From a guy's interpretation:
Sounds like she told her girlfriend that you two (or the guy and the original girl) aren't anything special or official... and maybe her girlfriend slipped by making that comment.

I just wanted a female opion on this one because I was thinking ms. single & available was trying to put me in the trick bag.
She was being to nice in a number of ways and people are not that giving unless they want something in return.
Most of us can catch a hint - even when given on the sly tip.
either you don't mean much to either parties or you mean so much that her friend wants to share you regardless of what your "girl" may say...
but if i were a guy, i'd go anyway...
It depends how much of good friends they are.. for example... I know exactly how my friends feels about a guy and would never say that unless she wanted me to spring that on u to see how you would respond.
otherwise I'm with Kieth...

What exactly is she getting at / going to by the Single Ladies statement she made? Maybe she's throwing you a hint about your girls behavior or maybe she's trying to start trouble, some people who are single (and not by choice) get jealous and try to throw a monkeywrench in others relationships. Or she could be a ditz, and shes using her standard line of "there will be alot of single ladies there" to get any guys to come to her party. Mention that comment to your girl and get her feedback on it. Or if your the insecure type spy on her ass. Sike just kiddin' biggrinangel.gif

I would have turned to the girl you were going to visit and said,
"Are you bi?"

how defined is the 'relationship'? i'd say your girl is unsure, and her friend is trying to find out for her. sneaky but possible.

No, everybody is 30+, the wife and I have been seperated for some time now and her friend is one that I never met before. Seeing that I am not boyfriend and my title is husband, it struck me very odd that she would say "it's gonna be alot of sinlge women there."
Her friend is on some BS.
