Roy Hargrove's New Album Is Mad Funky!!!!!!!!!!!

Every song on the album is the unbelievable bomb! It's called "The RH Factor". I plead with everyone reading this to get this album. Cats like Common, Erykah Badu, Renee Neufville (from Zhane hail.gif ), D'Angelo and Michelle Ndegeocello. And musicians like Steve Coleman, Bernard Wright, Pino Palladino and Cornell Dupree. And you can tell the influences (Stax, 70s WRVR, Black Jazz).

I have everyone of Roy's albums, and this one's one of his tops (that, along with The Vibe, and Moment To Moment, the string album).

Oh, yeah, it's on Verve.

AGREED! I picked this up Tuesday, along with the new vintage sounding EW&F album "The Promise"(Damn Good Also). I am juggling both. It's funny to see that Roy's album was recorded in Jan/Feb 2002. What took so long? Worth the wait though.
