I just watched it on DVD last night. Got it from Netflix (great concept BTW).

Go get it.

BTW, I figured it out about 15 minutes from the end, but up until then, a real whodunit!

The movie about house music .... Sorry! I misunderstood. He'll (Chip E) probably have to change the name now or face copyright infringement charges.

Netflix is great service anyway. :D

Sorry it took so long to respond.
I've been swamped. Soooo busy with other people's projects.
This summer alone, I did:
A double DVD set for "Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers",
a DVD for the rock group "Chicago",
a DVD for the documentary about Cynthia Plaster Caster, "Plaster Caster",
a DVD for the feature film "Bettie Page Uncensored",
and I'm finishing up some work on the "2003 Bonnaroo Music Festival" DVD.
Not to mention lots of editing small projects and spots.

HOWEVER, we're still moving along. If you didn't hear, we've added an interview with Frankie Knuckles. Currently, I'm finishing up some new music for the movie, and getting it ready for some film festivals we're considering entering.

Believe me, there's a reason we're not rushing this one. I think you'll find it worth the wait.
And of course, it will eventually be released on DVD. Currently there are no plans for VHS. I don't want to compromise the way it's experienced. You know, kinda like how David M. likes his parties to be "just right".

Anyway, keep reminding me that you're interested...it does help motivate me.

Peace,

-e.

-g- </font>[/QUOTE]Netflix give me an opportunity to see all the smaller movies I might not rent if I were shelling out cash "per." Lately, though, I've been getting one good movie out of every 3. I'm sill looking for decent gay cinema, but if Donna Deitch does jump back into it, we may never see that again. Right now I have Usual Supects, A Family Affair and Heavenly Creatures. Hollywood is the only one that came through on this group.

I've got some interesting stuff coming up in queue, mostly for the benefit of my staff (yes, they can watch movies at work), including Soylent Green, The Groove Tube, 5 Fingers of Death, Silverado, Rashamon and Imitation of Life (Lana Turner version -- We've already watched the Claudette Colbert version).

Another nice feature, I've got Matrix 2, XMen 2 and T3 all on queue. No waiting forever for them to get to the video store and your timing to be right. No stalking the last person you saw rent it so you can be there when they bring it back! graemlins/grinyes.gif

What do you have out or in queue?
