i'm almost completely convinced that the "music and me" version that dj spinna dropped last weekend is blaze's,
someone must know.
plus that organ record joe clausell played that nearly lasted 15 minutes and although i'm not sure i believe someone said it was called "obatala"
a night to remember...very much worth the drive.

It was not the LP version, which is out by the way. I'm pretty sure it was Spinna's personal CD version. Whether or not he did it or someone else remixed it is anyone's guess.

DJ Spinna - Here to There (2xLP)
This I don't understand. This is a ‘ip-‘op album with one, yes I repeat, one house track that is simply butter - Shaun Escoffery on vocals. The song I'm talking about is "Music in Me (Come Alive). It's a lot of cheese for one song, but if you can afford the price for one song, its worth it.
Peace

There is a Miami Promo floating around from BBE with Shaun Escoffery - Music in me ( Paul Simpson ext rmx ) . The song has just as it was written been extended . I really like this record as well .
Peace Alex . ;)

OK that solves it, it'll be one of those 12" BBE releases, like the jazzy jeff & osunlade releases, also spinna too btw, he had Drive/Rock out on one a while back.

It is alot of cheese for one song. I was waiting for Spina to come out the booth at Shelter so I could woop his ass, for making me spend 17.99. mad1.gif Lucky his set blew my mind and I forgot about it. smile.gif That new Ann Nesby, Peace Pipe joint did it for me. hail.gif

Why is everyone hating on the Spinna lp? It's a solid album with a mix of many genres. Hip-Hop, Downtempo, instrumental funk, etc.... Spinna began his career producing hip-hop and still rocks both house and hip-hip functions. Checked him out last year alongside Bobbito @ the Prince/Michael Jackson throwdown, definitely ill!

I'm not really hating on Spinna's Lp. I do like most cuts on it. My comment was base on the fact that I pick up the lp without listening to it first. I went just on the fact that I know he has mad skills and the one cut, Music In Me. I assume it must has other house tracks on it. I know his roots, I try to check him out when he plays. I just saying he could have spread the love a little more with house. 1 out of 16 tracks is not much luv. ;)

Any idea when the Blaze remix will be available? Granted Spinna just got it from Blaze a week or two ago...
