hello, I've recorded a mix in Pro Tools (I previously used Spark) and have cropped it to fit on a CD. how do I save down an AIFF or WAV file to my desktop - ie. with my crops saved also???

"Bounce to disk" look under file menu...........

Remember and make sure the entire mix is selected in the timeline.

Another tip : you can save the file name with "apple-c" and if you make a mistake or hear something you need to correct. You can paste the name in the file box without having to retype it......

If you can't be bothered waiting for it to bounce down (pro-tools bounces in real time) you can select the mix and then Edit>Consolidate Selection (just to make sure it is all the one file) And then go to the right hand side of the screen where the audio pool sidebar is. Your file should be lit up. If its not select it in the edit window. Hit 'audio' at the top of the sidebar and select 'Export Selected As File'

This won't work if you have any real-time plugins on it though.
