Controversial decisions two weeks in a row. Fres Oquendo won that fight. He took it to Byrd and beat him. One of the judges even had it 117-111. What fight was he watching? What do you have to say MHD?

I was not impressed with Oquendo. All he did was hold and push. I would call it a draw. Byrd didnt win it...that is definite. George Foreman seem to say that the fix was in. Think Don King had a hand in this decision??

you don't pay for a prostitute then turn around and sue her cuz she gave ya da crabs!!!

and that's what boxing has become to me....
I'm an ass cuz I continue to shell out ridiculous pay per view fees for this bull so i've stopped complaining...it's and adult form of WWF wrestling.

Chris Byrd got handed a pretty good beating last night. He seemed to be taken out of the pawing style the often confuses opponets. I was a bit shocked at the decision too. The best thing to do as a boxer now, is to make sure you whoop your opponets ass and send him to nap.

In any case it's irrelevant because his being a bum does not mean that said bum didn't kick Byrd's behind. Regardless of the skill or tactics, he dominated Byrd and should have won.

[/QUOTE]Oquendo didn't win because the judges saw his style as sloppy. The constant loss of his footing, tackling Byrd twice, his loss of energy after round 9 - these are things that the judges deduct points for even if the ref doesn't.

Oquendo did serve him a whuppin' - true - but he didn't "beat" him. He isn't ready yet...although you can expect Lennox Lewis to give him a shot (ala Michael Grant), because that's how he makes his dough.
