About the Chiacgo House Nation Picnic I wanted to throw...read in..

as some of you know..i wanted to try and organize a picnic so that some of us up and coming dj's could get some pub and so that I could meet some of my fellow DHP'ers...

the permit cost have made that a non event...i can't afford 3000.00 for permits and insurance..just can't.

What I'd like to do is organise a party in Chicago that would feature DHP members spinning..and the attendance would be targeted to DHP members...of course anyone else who wanted to attend would be welcome if they could enjoy house music in any of it's varied forms...

I have a club downtown Chicago that is going to let me get a Saturday night for this event...has a sound system already..I have to pay for flyers to be printed and a few other things but I can handle that...

A couple of things...1. would Chicago DHP'ers come out to support this event ? The cover would be like 5.00 or so..

2.Are there any dj's who want to play the event?

For the picnic , I couldn't pay anyone but for this I'd be able to give anyone who plays like 50.00 maybe 75.00 for a 1 1/2 hour set...

Bruh,ya best bet is to go to the Free for all at Orgy's Monday.There will be a lot of jocks and folks who are looking to do things there.It's a good way to network.Sometimes the DHP ain't the place to put all ya bizness and ideas out....dig. ;)
