Grandmaster Flash and salsoul - NEW ALBUM

Hey peeps, - hot off the press from www.burnitblue.com: (http://www.burnitblue.com:) Not sure what to make of this - not sure what to make of the new salsoul re-releases, or the GMF mix.... errrmmm?

The legend that is Grandmaster Flash is to release a mix compilation in November entitled ‘Dance Your Ass Off – The Ultimate Salsoul Mix’. The twenty-track compilation, featuring the likes of the Salsoul Orchestra, Instant Funk, Loleatta Holloway and more, is the second album release from the Salsoul UK/Suss’d label. The album includes Flash’s trademark scratches and has been proclaimed by the label as “Grandmaster Flash’s greatest mix since 1981’s ‘The Adventures on the Wheels of Steel’.” The package is to come with extensive sleeve notes and archive photos.

greetings fred, there has already been a GF/Salsoul mix release (2XLP) in the past, I presume this is another of the current re-issue releases, but I might be wrong.

Yeah this mix is definately worth getting, its got a real party vibe.
