WASHINGTON, Apr 19, 2011 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- National FreedomFest, a two-day music extravaganza, returns Independence Day 2011 with a powerful lineup and a brand-new venue: the recently completed Yards Park on Washington's riverfront.

"There is no better way to countdown to the National Fireworks Show than right here in the Nation's Capital, in the middle of the ultra-modern, brand new Yards Park," said Rich Shea, President of HiBall Events.

HiBall Events, the company behind premier area events like Big Night New Year's Eve in DC and Baltimore, BlocktoberFest, and the Halloween Monster Bash, will be offering several ticket options for revelers. General Admission tickets, which permit access to the four main stages and vendor booths, are introduced at: $19.99 for a one-day pass and discounted to $29.99 for both days, with children under 12 admitted free.

VIP ticket holders will enjoy a selection of fine Anheuser-Busch products all day with limited edition FreedomFest 2011 mugs, a separate VIP entrance, private bathrooms, and in addition to access to the four stages there will be a private fifth acoustic stage. Prices for VIP tickets are $59.99 for a one-day pass, and $99.99 for a two-day pass. Must be 21 for VIP access.

For people with more discerning tastes, taste and drink some of the region's best at FreedomFest's Taste of Freedom tent. In addition to VIP and general admission access, Taste of Freedom ticket holders will enjoy craft beer, wine and food pairings, premium craft beers, plenty of seating and additional private bathrooms. Taste of Freedom tickets begin at $150 for a one-day pass, $250 for a two-day pass (very limited availability).

Confirmed bands include: Dirty Heads, Burnt Sienna, White Ford Bronco, Kristen & The Noise, JTX, Icewagon Flu, Lost in Paris, Liquid A, and Rome In A Day. DJ Neekola, Yolanda Be Cool, Armando, Pat Premier, Dave Russell, Kwest, Rene, Jen Lasher, 2Nutz, Lil' Fos and Pork & Beans will be spinning tracks throughout the festival.
