Fight? We're products of our environment.... yet with the weather and women in Brazil, I'll be the kindest person in the world......HONEST.
U'd be dying to get back if you stayed here(the US) for one month!

Where in Brasil are you located ?
I've always tried to find some house spots to check out when I'm in Rio and haven't had any luck yet.
Peace

Rob I'm living now in Rio, wich is a city without a House scene, that's why you were not lucky...
Only few cats (hehe, i'm gettin it!) play decent house music but they are not on the scene, only at the basement parties... ;)
But Sao Paulo (as djyoavb said above) it's a great city too, specially when it comes to night life. Anderson Soares and friends are keepin' it real there. graemlins/thumbsup.gif
they are actually doing a house party tonight!!

ezy Yeah, actually, I was going to try to get out to Sao Paulo a couple of years ago when I was down there and hook up with Anderson (i met him when he was in DC playing @ Red...real good guy) but I ended up getting food poisoning like 1 day before I was supposed to leave so the Sao Paulo part didn't happen.
Are the basement parties actual club/basement type places, just REALLY underground and small or are they just house parties really in someone's basement ?
I am not sure when I'm coming back down, but it would be great to have some places to go when I do end up back in Rio. The closest I've come to hearing house music in Rio was at a bar in Ipanema called Shenanigans, they played a Chrystal Water's song once. smile.gif
Peace

Peace </font>
The parties I mentioned are usually at someone's house or really small ones, like there is almost no divulgation...
Some friends are trying to change it now, they are beggining to make bigger parties and getting some residencies at local clubs. It's something to grow from now on...
So let us know when you come down here again. smile.gif
peace... ezy

ezy </font>
i attended the redbull music academu a year ago... i also played a club over there, forgot the name... the girls r so........ girlish :D
I actually had a good friend/professor go back in May to Rio, Sao Paolo and another city that I cant recall. All he mentioned was that the entertainment business is heavy down there and said I should look into it.
Besides a wild but held-onto dream of skydiving off one of the mountains in Brazil I've always wanted to visit.
I'd "stow-away" in a heartbeat, no brainer!
