Louis Benedetti always knew that music would play a major role in his life. At the early age of 4 he discovered his father’s record collection and a record player. At 11, Louis began spinning records for friends at House Parties and by the time he was 14, he started playing professionally non-stop Disco, Funk and Soul Music for big crowds.

While in New York, the nights at the Paradise Garage with Larry Levan, Tony Humphries’s Zanzibar and Kiss MasterMix Shows were Louis' greatest influence. From that time on it has been an ascendant pursuit both as a DJ as well as producer. Today, Louis Benedetti is an accomplished producer and DJ.

Louis Benedetti's production and remix work has a deep musical flavor influenced by the sounds of the Old School Funk, the Philly Sound, Salsoul Era and most of all, the best of Soulful Club Music of all times.

Notorious for his amazing music programming and mixing abilities, Louis Benedetti is also a multi talent in the studio from playing keys to programming drums, editing as well as engineering on most of his projects.

Presently, Louis spends the majority of his time traveling the world Djing, producing and remixing for a variety of labels including his own Florida based SoulShine Recordings.

This weekend we had the pleasure of bringing Louis to Orlando.

a run down of the night...

I usually don't get to hear tony(our resident dj spin) but this time i did because i was inside running around making sure everything was set up right. I loved everything he played.....its really amazing how music sometimes can easy your stress level.. and just make you realize why you do what you do....

A huge thanks to Jay Matthews for bringing extra sound that night...and for making sure the place sounded to perfection. Which it did.

Louis came on around 12:20 or so... his set was amazing...
me and tamara were doing the door the majority of the night.. but i kept popping and out throughout the whole night.. and everytime i went in.. he had people dancing on the floor.. later on in the night.. you saw hands in the air.... i came back one time.. and a couple of people were like.. he played "its all over my face"... i can't believe he played that...

a couple of people asked me to please bring him back again...

we met some new people that night as well....its always good to meet new house heads in orlando...actually.. we had people from tampa and from jacksonville drive to see Louis.. thanks for the support guys...

if you were there.. you know the music was on point.. Louis Benedetti is very talented..he mixed in house classics with new stuff... the crowd loved it..

the beautiful lady on the dance floor with the hat on dancing the whole time was his wife Helena Lin.... she is so awesome..

I had a very nice time hanging out with both of them this weekend.. they are two really unique individuals who have a true deep love for the music and for the scene.

thank you to everyone that came out that night...i know who you are because i see you at all our parties... thank you so much for the support...
