the list could go on. But, we only have a few people willing to pray for troops. Sad.

Some people don't get it. Yes, I'm aware that our government may have other things in mind. But, some of the the things from the list could become a reality if we have people not willing to fight to keep those things from happening.

When are we gonna realize that people around the world don't like Americans for many reasons. And we will have to fight for our rights. We are destroying our country from within and people around the world are saying, who cares about Americans.

Sad, the hostages need our support and prayer.

One thing does strike me though, we have all of the things you mentioned in Europe too, but I don't see no fanatics attacking us to take away our freedom.

Europe has had a terrible war-filled past, we have been the scene of some of the most horrifying acts man has ever committed, but we slowly learned from it and have now come to a time where war is nearly unthinkable. The question is when will your so called-leaders learn anything from the past? And when will you? If you believe that countries like Iraq and Afghanistan will take away your music and freedom you are as blind as your Prez and all his warmongering little buddies.

You asked for no politics but dragged in the freedom-rant yourself, so excuse me for bringing this up.

What happens when they don't find any weapons of mass destruction and the pictures and reports come back of the destruction, mayhem and hideous acts our troops caused....are we suppose to be still supportive?

It's f'ed up because most of our troops are there because life has dealt them a bad hand(poverty, family split up, both parents are dead, abuse) and the military is the only place they feel they can go and make a life for themselves. A very small % are there because they want to.

Negotiations, treaties, free speech, the constitution, rights and the ability to stand up for those rights is what makes this country great....not the military and the constant meddling(sp?) in foreign policy.

I couldn't be in the military because I can't just take orders blindly.

I feel as though if I don't support the troops, then I don't support my brother. How can I get beyond that?

I fully support the troops, "all of them," not just ours. The British + other countries (few) are involved in this unnecessary conflict also.

What I don't support is the administration abuse of the troops in using them for selfish reasons by Bu$h and co.

Lil Ray says it much better than I do and I support his sentiments.

For a person whose parent is abusing them, very poor, or feel they have nowhere else to turn, this seems a good bargain.
