In the next few weeks, I'm going to be stuck in Alexandria, VA. Where are the good dancing spots in NOVA these days? (note: Not DC).
Any good one-off gigs in NOVA coming up?
It could be house, latin, reggae, hip-hop, african, I don't care the genre toooo much. Just whatever is good, where the dancers have energy, the dancing hot, and the music isn't stale. So you see, right there, I'm setting up standards that may be impossible to meet. Therefore, in lieu of impossible standards, I'm ready to take any info you have on the subject, at all. One can always make it a perfect place for oneself. ...wow....flashback...I hadn't thought about this in 15 years, but there was this hotel in Bloomington, IN that I lived close to, where the lounge/club was absolutely dead, but the DJ at least was present, and played a decent song or 2. And that was all I needed. Danced and had a great time, by myself, for free. Perfect. Completely forgot about that until just this moment. wierd.
