Papa Records/ Chilli Funk are always on point for soulful house tracks
Bitasweet/ 2000 Black for anything that little bit out of the norm (if the norm was straight up house)

Isn't most uk vinyl pressed in france/outside uk these days? Or was that just a rumour????
Keep up the tips. I've been missing good uk house for a while.

supine,
I know in the 80's a lot where manufactured in Germany.
Not sure how much is pressed on the continent now though ?
Mantis are UK manufactured, Thru Thoughts also.
I would be interested to know how many plants are in the UK (except Simply Vinyl) ?

Supine Sadly there's no more Strut, but expect good things from the guys with Whistlebump. No doubt Simon will hit us with more information.

Most of their newer releases are wack, but the early stuff on Cyclo was RAW. Very much in the same vein as the Cajual stuff. Gemini, J Fiasco, Derrick Carter, JT Donaldson, etc were contributors.

graemlins/thumbsup.gif </font>[/QUOTE]I really like how Sunburst Band get that mix right between dancefloor sound and home listening sound (if that makes any sense!)

Haven't heard much from them since 2000,when I met Sally Rodgers from A Man called Adam.
Coco Steel & Lovebomb - X2 12" LP may have been the last thing.

I think Chris Coco is also part of Other
