Greetings Sire:

If my numbers are correct.....the sme start from 950 up to 4500 usd depending on the model. I believe all the sme's will support a moving coil.

I used the combination u r refering too with a koestu. So it was in the class a range. It was excellent.

Let me know what his asking price is. Also I have someone who may also want to contact them
(Tim Lawrence) for equiptment re the parties we are doing in London.

Right now I am studying the possible use of a tech 1100's with a Koestu tone arm and carth.

Get it if the price is reasonable. It's a fantastic piece, that turntable. Me old man has a 125mk2 with the original gold tone arm, and while it's great, an SME arm will no doubt improve it even further!

On Ebay they average about 350 bucks. I have that combination but want the Black Widow tonearm instead.. David do you know someone who replaces the 1100 tonearms.. or does repairs...I have 2 that need some touchups
